How it all started...
In February of 1926, a passenger rail car was moved off the mainline and used by the Arizona Baptist Mission to plant a church. W.A. Vanderhoof would be the Pastor. The new church was named the Glad Tidings Chapel Car.
In 1932, the moved to its current site on Beaver Street and was renamed to First Baptist Church. The church building underwent a series of expansions in the 1930's and 1960's.
In 1977, the church was renamed to Flagstaff Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Al Parmenter. Al led the church for 14 years, followed by Steve Cole's tenure of 27 years through 2018.,

Expanding the vision...
Pastor Dave Berry arrived in 2018 and is leading FCF through a renewed focus on building a healthy church by building healthy church members, meaningful church membership, and a gospel culture that permeates all aspects of our life as a church family.
Where we are headed...
By God's grace, we are continuing to grow as a healthy church in Flagstaff, focused on God's Word and the Gospel of Grace as members that have covenanted with each other to strive side by side for the gospel. As Pastor Dave is fond of saying, "The best is yet to come".
