Association of Churches for Missions and Evangelism

ACME (Association of Churches for Missions and Evangelism) is a fellowship of like-minded churches committed to advancing the Great Commission together. Rather than functioning as a formal denomination, ACME exists to pool resources in support of gospel-centered ministry to support faithful workers and strategic missionary efforts.

ACME churches are united not only by coordinated missionary support, but also by shared theological practices and commitments. These include a central emphasis on expositional preaching, a historic Baptist understanding of baptism and church life, and a Reformed view of salvation that fuels confidence in evangelism. Member churches prioritize meaningful church membership and discipline, elder-led congregational governance, and the regular gathering of the church as one unified assembly. Worship is intentionally shaped by Scripture, and missions and evangelism are carried out through the local church in submission to biblical instruction.

ACME is designed to complement rather than replace other partnerships, recognizing that each local church must steward its time and resources wisely. At its core, the fellowship seeks to glorify God by fostering cooperation, generosity, and a shared commitment to missions and evangelism.

9Marks Ministry

9Marks is a ministry that serves pastors, future pastors, and church members by helping them build healthy churches. It is not a denomination, network, or governing body, but a resource ministry that strengthens local churches through theological clarity, practical tools, and training. Churches around the world make use of 9Marks resources, including books, podcasts, articles, training events, and their church search platform as a way of supporting faithful church life and practice.

At the center of 9Marks is a conviction that healthy churches are built according to Scripture. This conviction is summarized in nine marks of a healthy church: expositional preaching, gospel doctrine, conversion and evangelism, meaningful church membership, church discipline, discipleship, biblically qualified church leadership, prayer, and missions. These are treated not as optional emphases, but as essential biblical commitments that shape the life and health of the local church.

In this way, 9Marks exists to serve churches by strengthening their faithfulness to God’s Word, their clarity in the Gospel, and their commitment to making disciples through healthy church life.
