College Ministry

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving" (Colossians 2:6-7)

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom..." (Colossians 3:16)

Since the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation and given our strategic proximity to NAU, we seek to faithfully engage more students with the gospel of Jesus Christ through intentional, servant-hearted friendship, inductive Bible reading, clear gospel proclamation, and exposure to the life of a local church.

Since we believe membership within a gospel preaching local church is God's plan for maturing his people in our identity and walk in Christ, we seek to see students become baptized members of the church, growing and serving within the Body of Christ through the normal means of grace. Our Thursday night College Group and other such events are meant to complement the Sunday gathering of the church, rather than replace it. 

Through the Sunday assembly, adult classes, college studies, and personal discipleship, we seek to instill in our students a life-long pursuit of growing in the grace of the Lord Jesus, learning and applying God's Word to every area of life, and seeking to help others to do the same. 

Recognizing the unique opportunities and short duration of the college years, we seek to raise up students to go out into their vocations eager to labor as unto the Lord and make disciples of all nations as healthy members of local churches.
